Men's game postponed all the way to Feb. 27th??? Do not believe that it is due to COVID issues with Tigers.
Women are still scheduled to play at Jadwin tomorrow.

Isn’t a forfeit by the disabled team more appropriate (like wrestling)?

At this point all conferences are deeming these to be postponements.
Under the new Ivy schedule, both Harvard and Princeton were to play a single game the weekend of February 26th, on Saturday at Princeton. Now, they will play Friday 2/25 at Princeton and Sunday 2/27 at Harvard. Doesn’t impact any other squads. Hopefully, that’s a meaningful home and home series.

It would certainly be a motivation for players to avoid situations that spread the virus.

Not to mention “back loading” the season.

The season was always backloaded. This was the first year where is wasn’t supposed to be backloaded.
Maybe next year

It seems like women teams' have fewer postponements than men although I am not sure. Would not surprise me if so.
Hopefully, some fans will show up for tomorrow's game. Going to Jadwin to watch a basketball game based on Jadwin's size and low attendance seems far safer than going to Wegmans based on our experience to date.
Some Tiger fans might believe that Princeton's women team might dominate but I doubt it. Harvard, Penn and especially Yale and Columbia will be tough outs.
Harvard has talent especially at PG. They are not tall or deep but they have talent and a great coach in her last year. Tigers better be ready.

I assume this is all on the up and up on Harvard’s part. However, I can see why a Princeton fan could have questions. They do seem to have moved the game back to when, presumably, Harvard will have its injured players back. I could see wondering whether Harvard has used the current environment to avoid playing a game when it would be disadvantageous to do so.

Sorry, I just don't believe that the Ivies act like the SEC over this. Frankly, given the likelihood that it will be over by the end of January (based on the South African experience), why not just take a break and play the season as we always have up to this year, when the ridiculous decision was made not to simply move the schedule up a week, but overload games when no one was around on campus and crush any idea that students will care about their teams.

That was my suggestion a week ago: just go back to the original Ivy schedule. Things should be much more manageable in late January. Why not wait until then?

Possibly, although when do students return to campus? If it's later in January, that might produce an uptick as well.

Agreed, late January could see a surge on campuses as students return. I think the league is aware that the teams are currently in a bubble of sorts, very much alone on campus, and so the league is willing to push forward and get come contests completed.
The only games left on the schedule are league games, except for Penn vs Howard on Tuesday. Hopefuly that game isn't regretted later.

Tigers got off a brutally slow start shooting 25% in the 1st half with 2 early fouls on Mitchell -- she played only 5 minutes in the 1st half. Even with that, they had a 9 pt lead at half time due to defense and rebounding and then blew the game open in the 3rd qtr.
Defense almost always keeps a team in the game and today was a perfect example as Harvard had difficulty at times even getting off a shot.
Tigers showed a fair amount of rust and need to improve on the offensive end for sure. Kind of sad to see Connolly replaced by Chen but it is understandable based on talent level difference.

41 years ago, Billy Ryan put Dave Blatt on the bench. Worked out just fine.
