A couple of sources (no idea as to reliability) are reporting Paulsen, along with Merrimack's Joe Gallo, as finalists for the Holy Cross job.
DP definitely interviewed for the Bucknell job a few weeks ago, and was rumored to have interviewed for Lafayette the previous year. Maybe third time is the charm for him.

I speculated a few days ago about Paulsen ending up at a PL opponent. It would certainly be interesting.

It will be worth the price of admission to see him stack the cups at the visitor's end of the scoring table.

There is some evidence building that Paulsen is going to be the new Holy Cross head coach, perhaps being announced tomorrow. If so, congrats to him.
I understand why Bucknell did not re-hire him as its new coach, given the need for someone with a great deal of energy and credibility with the fans - one who could sell a vision of a rebuilt program. But what I did not understand is why Lafayette did not hire him when he interviewed there last year. Seems like he would’ve been a better choice than Michael Jordan.
I also wonder if Halcovage really was the second choice of Jermaine Truax, or if it was actually Paulsen, who definitely interviewed for the job. While I preferred Griffin over Paulsen, I definitely would have preferred Paulsen over Halcovage.

IMO, the PL was at its all time best when both Bucknell and HC had highly competitive programs. Obviously, I'm looking forward to it happening again.

The Muscala/McCollum years were pretty damn good. Lehigh's win over Duke, Bucknell beating Arizona in the NIT and a competitive tournament game against Butler. It's a shame McCollum broke his foot senior year.
