WBB ranked #25 (AP). Loss to #17 Indiana did not hurt so much. Narrow loss to #2 UCLA (which moved up) may have helped a bit. Ironically, the team they are behind is Banghart's UNC.

Men getting some votes but still a little outside the top 25.

UNC lost to FGCU yesterday which dropped them down to #24.

While a bit unrealistic at this point, it is possible that the women could run the table up to the NCAAs. Especially if Amanze could return and be a factor.

Still a lot of hard non-conference tests in front of them.

*Seton Hall, to whom they lost a couple of years ago at Jadwin
* URI, to whom they also lost in RI in ‘21 when Meyers got hurt late in the game
* A strong mid-major in Quinnipiac
* Villanova at Villanova. No Maddy Siegrist but still a major test
* Rutgers at home. We beat them at the RAC (sorry, Jersey Mike) last year and were down about 15 early in the 3Q before catching fire.
* Vermont, up in Burlington; they’ve beaten Quinnipiac and lost to Courtney Banghart’s team by only 3.

The only cupcake is LeMoyne. (And please explain to me why LeMoyne’s mascot is the Dolphin? Are there dolphins in Onondaga Lake?)

Point being: If they run the table, it will be a significant accomplishment.

To put some math around the remainder of the season - and how good this Princeton team is:

21 games – 17.3 expected wins
Only two games as an underdog: at Villanova (-8) and at Columbia (-2.6)
Only five other games with less than an 80% chance of winning: at Seton Hall (+8.9), URI (+0.6), at Harvard (+0.5), home to Columbia (+6.7), home to Harvard (+8.2)
11 games with a 95%+ chance of winning

Clearly favored to win the League and gain an at large bid for the NCAA regardless of Ivy Madness madness.

The downside of this superiority is that Princeton’s NET (30) with only one higher NET team remaining (Nova -20) is naturally much more likely to fall towards the bubble line, than improve to NET 16 and hosting the open weekend.

In my opinion, Columbia’s NCAA at large bid was harmed much more by needing to go to OT vs. Cornell (which dropped them 10 NET spots) than the Ivy Madness loss to Harvard. Remember Princeton fell 41 to 45 NET after a close win over a good Harvard team late last season.

Each game here out is a NET trap game and success is not measured by Ws but by how does the NET change.

Princeton men up to #8 in the College Insider Mid Major Top 25. Yale slips to #13, Cornell cracks the 25 at #23 and Harvard gets the 27th most votes.

Lee Ivy POW, joining Pierce and Allocco. Harvard's Mack ROW again.
Kenpom projects results of every game
He favors the Tigers in all remaining games except Yale in New haven. He favors Yale by a score of 69-68

I agree. It would be a significant accomplishment. I wasn't implying that I liked their chances, just that it's a possibility and wouldn't be a complete shock if it happened.

Newest bracketologies are out. Lunardi has the men replacing Yale, in as a 12.

Creme has the women as a 6, up from an 8 last week.

I have a modest request: Could posts and comments about WBB be clearly segregated from those about MBB? It would make finding relevant content much easier for everyone.

A 12 seed is nice. Play a 5 seed in the first round, and if you win, you get a 4 seed or a 13 in the second round.
