Cornell 71 Harvard 60: Big Red D much improved...turnovers continue to plague the Crimson
Columbia 59 Dartmouth 53: Lions need this one but Gardner keeps the Big Green close
Penn 77 Brown 56: Brown's lack of rebounding is exposed vs Quakers, Forte tired after playing close to 40 minutes..
Princeton 68 Yale 63: Tigers can't go 0-2 on opening weekend at home...

It will be a historic night for the Ivy League. Brown will win 69-68. I agree with the rest of your picks.

Interesting that Jones pulled Yale's starters early in blowout at Penn: starters only got 24,22,15,31 and 23 minutes while Ruscoe and Forte played 40 and 39...after being swept by Brown last year Penn will certainly not take this one lightly...one reason Brown was able to win last night is that this Princeton team is not good on the boards...IMO Penn is playing the best D in the league right now...

With Yale, it could be the old kick-in-the-butt theory to shake up the starters. I remember Rollie Massimino did something similar in Villanova's last regular-season game in 1985, benching all his regulars in the middle of a blowout by Pitt if I recall properly.
Regarding today, I agree that the listed spread for the Columbia-Darmouth game (12-1/2 in my paper) is too big. I think it will be fairly close all game, and while Columbia will pull it out in the end, it should stay within single digits. Let's say Columbia 67, Dartmouth 59.
Cornell will duplicate last year's early-season success and have an easy time against Harvard. Call it 72-51. Yale will play Princeton tough, but I just can't see the Tigers getting swept at home. Princeton 49, Yale 48. And Penn will hang in there against an energized Bear squad to win 66-61.

Cornell 67 Harvard 59 However, watch out for Cusworth's 11 rebounds
Columbia 72 Dartmouth 58 Preston is inspired after after the miserable loss to Cornell and puts up 21 points
Penn 73 Brown 65 Ibby's four steals are all the highlights you need from the game
Princeton 59 Yale 51 Venable insures that tigers scratch off the elis with 17 points and 8 assists

Then again, Bill Self did that with Kansas at the Wachovia Center, and look where it got them...
